The peak at 1mb was my coding mistake - right now i fixed it and the max heap usage is much lower

edit: the testing is done with 2 animated npc's right now, below is the memory with 8 animated npc's

Note that the peak at the begining is before the game is started, so the real peak is the small one.

These are very succesful results. Congragulations!

Is your work experimental? or you are working on a commercial project? are you an indie developer? or are you a hobbiest? or are you a student?

Could you please give us some information about yourself and about your project?

Nothing to say really, just learning java and 3d programing. The goal is to write a small game and develop an engine that can be reused in other projects as well. Eventually the project will showcase my abilities when i begin looking for a job.
If the game is finished it will be released with in game ads.

The game right now has 23500 triangles! On the phone the speed is minimum 22fps!

edit: i'm sorry my mistake with the counting... the triangles are not 23500 but 8400... still i think this is a very good result Smiley

Nice ship Smiley

I think you should get a designer to draw some textures and stuff, to see what your engine is really capable of...

I would like to do it but the budget for this project is 0$ and I don't have anybody who will work for free Smiley
right now working on GUI, and interaction with the scene(doors, chests, teleports, levers, buttons etc.)

as for the capabilities - all textures are 128x128, multitexturing is supported (for instance you can change only the face texture of the npc)
and the upper limit for any given level is 13 000 textured polygons.

Well, you could look for one on the internet. There're probably some graphic students out there who wouldn't mind drawing a couple of textures. Doesn't seem like a huge job to me...
